Thank you! Stabalise writes so beautifully, was awesome seeing her mold both pieces into place until it felt like walking through a dream. Thanks for reading 🙏
Wow… this one hits like a fevered dream. The way you weave myth, desire, and danger is hypnotic the Summer Triangle, the magpie, the merging of consciousness it’s intoxicating and unsettling in equal measure. I was completely drawn in.✨
Ohhh this is awesome! So many emotions hit so fast.
I relate with her feeling stuck in her own body. With epilepsy it feels like watching something else take over and you're trapped inside. 😅
I'm rooting for her victory! Also curiosity on why they needed permission instead of fully forcing it?! Seemed like he can harm her just fine to force it either way.
Perhaps it’s because she’s a fairy or has fairy blood and there’s something about them that requires permission or she wouldn’t work as a vessel. Maybe that’s what Vega hints at when she asks if it worked this time.
The theories are interesting. When I was digging around one version of the legend said that she, the original Vega, was a fairy princess. And when I was trying to figure out where to take the ending the one question I asked was “what happened to the other fairies when they were sent to the heavens?” The rest is up for interpretation as giving the whole puzzle is no fun 🤷♂️
The way this legend falls from the heavens into reality is stunning, as is the shift from gazing dreamily at the stars to waking up in a nightmare. Great piece!
This story genuinely terrified me...I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to sleep tonight. The suspense and eerie atmosphere you created made me feel like I was walking that dark road myself.
This is beautifully atmospheric, capturing the tension and mystery of a solitary night walk. The vivid descriptions of the night sky and the haunting legend of the Summer Triangle add depth to the narrative. The protagonist’s inner thoughts and the eerie encounter create a gripping suspense that keeps you on edge.
Ah Stabilise and Matthew C! Great work on this! Wonderful build up of tension! Very visceral!
Thank you.
Thanks Andrea 🙏
I enjoyed how this one turned out too.
The 57 seconds thing took me out... Such a mean little countdown, I was grinning and stressed at the same time... >.<"
😬tick tock tick tock
Happy it made you feel the tension we aimed for here!
This felt like a dream, with unspoken ambience keeping you from waking up.
Ya, he basically made it the creepy cosmic that it is, haha.
Great combo of creeps and creatives. 🙌

I’m familiar with her work, she is awsome. I bet you had something to do with this too. 😉
Faire blood is a thing like that?
In this universe perhaps 😅
Normie human bodies couldn’t contain a celestial God

Thank you so much, Marlana. I appreciate you taking the time to read. I’m glad you were drawn in. I found the legend behind it quite fascinating :)
This whole collab was fascinating 🫶🏼✨
I agree, it was a fun one to work on with stabalise. The legend was really interesting to dive into

Thank you for this, I had a lot of fun reading. 😊
Thank you for reading and the observant comment.

Ohhh I see, basically the magic works better if she accepts more willfully rather than forced?
Lovely. ❤️

Ohh, I love this! I heard a similar story in Chinese culture with the sun and moon I believe.
Everyone loves unbreakable bonds from afar! ❤️ The darker sides of them are always fun to read!
There were a few novels I read a long time ago that had similar stories, I can't recall the names, though.
Fabulous tale!! Like a cosmic version of "The Skeleton Key".
Thank you for reading, Alicia.
First cosmic I think for both of us. Super cool genre
You guys did a great job!
She in fact should not have trusted the stranger...
Creepy. Stunning. Mythical. Creepy.
Did i mention creepy
Well done to both of you..
Most definitely 😅
What a real prick, eh?
This was the perfect little escape I needed to get out of my own head this evening. I enjoyed the journey
I think we all need a little escape from our heads

Thanks, Nick. I trusted Mathew to guide us on how to make the shift, haha. I’m learning everyday.
Interesting read and take on an everyday occurrence encapsulated here with visceral details of the unique scene/characters. Glad to read this.
Glad to have you read this Tim. I like the MC, quirky, smart, fascinated with love… enough to make a silly decision

How’d you sleep?
I sleep in my dreams.😅
That was great. Lots of tension there, and it has you wanting to keep reading to see where it heads.
I loved it.
Thanks, Gary. I appreciate that a lot. I was curious myself what kind of shenanigans they’d get up to and if the woman survives.

Stabalise added in the triangle which I though was a great angle. The legend really is fascinating, and was cool diving into for this piece.
Loved this! So eerie and unsettling. It works great as a standalone, but I also want to know more.
Interesting. I think there’s some more story to tell. Maybe other vessels? 🤔
Yes please!
To be honest, I think it felt unfinished. Vega was so mean, haha, and she deserves recompense.
Definitely. Maybe you all could continue the story with some interwoven flashbacks of previous vessels? At any rate, I’m hooked!
Well, @Mathew C. Bryant, lol… that’s up to you. We could track them during the 23 hours.
GODDAMN
Some stories just leave you with a GODAMN 😅
For real. I think I'm still processing it actually. I can't form any other comment right now 😭😂
